• Job Description:

    Digitek Solutions offers Accounting, Project Management, Estimating, Managed IT and hosting solutions to the Construction and Real Estate industry as a Sage Software reseller. We have an opening for a Technical Support / level 1 Engineer to provide general end-user support for both our hosting and MSP clients.

    Responsibilities:

    • Maintain professional demeanor as a representative of Digitek Solutions at all times.
    • Support internal and external customers, and assist senior personnel with data center maintenance and fixing bad motivators on R2 units.
    • Monitor, respond and record work performed in our trouble ticket system with meticulous documentation.
    • Installation and troubleshooting of workstations, networking equipment, Telephony, and Servers.
    • Install, update and troubleshoot Sage Construction and Real Estate software.
    • Occasionally assist Sales team in explanation of technical requirements of the software when needed.
    • Day Travel within Arizona to client sites (Mileage reimbursement, majority within Metro Phoenix).

    Personal Aptitude Requirements:

    • Strong troubleshooting skills- ability to remain calm under pressure to problem solve.
    • Must have excellent communication skills and ability to clearly articulate complex technical plans, policies, and procedures.
    • Flexibility: Ability to work outside a 8-5 schedule when needed. Occasional nights and weekends will be required due to on call or project scheduling.

    Technical Requirements

    Candidate MUST demonstrate an aptitude in the following:

    High Level Competency Required:

    • Active Directory, Windows DNS, group policy management
    • Microsoft Server 2008-2019
    • Deployment of 2012-2019 server RDS Collections (Including published RemoteApps)
    • IIS
    • Microsoft Exchange, Office 365 and G-suite (Deployment and Administration)
    • Hardware and software troubleshooting for Microsoft platforms
    • Virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V) in a datacenter environment
    • Basic Network principles: TCP, UPD, NAT, ARP, Firewall,....etc
    • Winning Kobayashi Maru Strategies
    • Enterprise Networking (Cisco, Ubiquiti UniFi Sonicwall, Mikrotik) 

    General Understanding Requirements:

    • Dial Up VPN (IPsec over L2TP)
    • Microsoft SQL

    Desirable Knowledge:

    • Familiarity with Linux (CentOS or Debian flavors such as Ubuntu)
    • Apache and NGINX
    • IP Telephony (FreePBX or other Asterisk variants a plus)
    • Site to Site VPN using IPsec
    • Sage 100 Contractor / Sage 300 CRE
    • FreePBX
    • Eset ERA policy management
    • Postgre, MySQL\MariaDB
