Education Gives You a Leg Up on the Competition

IBS Education is known for fresh content on timely topics, from trends and technologies to business-building ideas, insights and outlooks. While favorites such as the Super Sales Rally will be back, more than 70% of the content for 2022 is new. Attending IBS gives you a tremendous opportunity to gain critical industry knowledge that your peers who choose to stay home will miss. IBS is a place to get a leg up in the industry. You need an All-Access Pass to participate in many of the education opportunities at the show. The Builders’ Show offers several types of education sessions: Spotlight Sessions, Building Knowledge Sessions, Game Changers, Tech Bytes Sessions, Pre-Show Courses, and Pre-show Master Workshops.

Show Village 2022: Back and Better Than Ever!

An “Immersive Home Experience,” presenting photorealistic online tours of two homes that reflect current consumer lifestyle wants and needs will pull you in as you immerse yourself in technology tools that help you see the future of home building.

Two “live” model homes showcasing the balance between popular architectural styles and cost-efficient building practices — available for self-tours — will put you inside the product, allowing you to touch and feel for yourself the hottest new products on the market that you can bring back to your customers.

Scheduled how-to demonstrations of critical construction performance details by skilled craftspeople and building science experts will give you in-the-field education by the best in the game. There will be keynote panel discussions about Build to Rent, Off-Site Construction, Operational Excellence, innovative new products, and more, and the Exhibitor Pavilions will feature products and services from leading manufacturers.

    All About IBS Exhibits

Along with the co-located National Kitchen & Bath Association’s Kitchen & Bath Industry Show® (KBIS), the two shows bring more than 1,200 exhibiting manufacturers and over 870,000 net square feet of exhibit space together. From trucks to trusses, software to security systems, and everything in between, if it’s used in residential construction, you will find it here. This year’s live event also will showcase exciting new features you won’t want to miss: Start-Up Zone, New Product Zone, Home Tech Zone, Building Zone, and Jobsite Safety Zone.

    IBS Extracurriculars

The IBS Centrals are a great place to explore new ideas, refine your skills and gain insights into your specific niche in the building industry. The Centrals programs are a bit more informal than traditional IBS Education sessions, but just as engaging. They feature some of the best professionals in the industry who are passionate about their areas of expertise—so the discussions are always lively. All IBS registrants are welcome at the Centrals: 55+ Housing, Custom Building, Design, Multifamily, Remodeling, and Sales.
